A Couple of Visual Perspectives on Market Declines

Major stock market declines are never pleasant. They signal increased perception of risk and uncertainty due to new information entering the buy-sell-hold equation. This current decline appears to have been triggered by fears of the coronavirus and its potential effects on the global economic supply chain. Whatever the apparent cause, we believe it’s helpful, as long-term investors, to always maintain a long view since we know patience is ultimately rewarded in a dynamic market economy like ours. Here are a couple of investing images I’ve developed or enhanced to help you maintain a healthy perspective on stock market returns.
